The TymeBank TFG account is a bank account with a debit card.
For customers who opt in, the card is a TFG Rewards card as well as a Pick n Pay Smart Shopper card.

Who can open a TymeBank TFG bank account?
You must be a South African, 16 years and older.
You must have their South African ID number and have a cell phone so to receive a one-time pin.
To link the TymeBank TFG debit card to TFG Rewards, you must be at least 18 years of age.
There are no credit checks when opening the account – since the TymeBank TFG account is not linked to a credit facility.
If you already have a TymeBank account – you can use the kiosk to swap over to a TymeBank TFG bank account and to get the purple TymeBank TFG debit card (not compulsory).
TymeBank account holders
If you already have a TymeBank account that you would like to swap over to a TymeBank TFG bank account can do so at one of the kiosks in our stores.
This will cost R70 per replacement card.
