The TymeBank TFG Money account is a bank account with a debit card.
For customers who opt in, the card is a TFG Rewards card as well as a Pick n Pay Smart Shopper card.

Who can open a TymeBank TFG Money bank account?
You must be a South African, 16 years and older.
You must have their South African ID number and have a cell phone so to receive a one-time pin.
To link the TymeBank TFG Money debit card to TFG Rewards, customers must be at least 18 years of age.
There are no credit checks when opening the account – since the TymeBank TFG Money account is not linked to a credit facility.
If you already have a TymeBank account – they can use the kiosk to swap over to a TymeBank TFG Money bank account and to get the purple TymeBank TFG Money debit card (not compulsory).
TymeBank account holders
If you already have a TymeBank account that you would like to swap over to a TymeBank TFG Money bank account can do so at one of the kiosks in our stores.
This will cost R70 per replacement card.
