The Cuisine::pro Damashiro Ultimate Knife Set includes 3 versatile knives for everyday cooking. The cleaver can take on heavier root vegetables with more force than a chef's knife or santoku knife. In addition to breaking down tendons and bones, cleavers can also be used for pounding, mincing, dicing, and slicing a variety of other foods. Santoku knives have a low tip and a broad blade, perfect for slicing, dicing and mincing. The recesses above the blade edge help to release thin slices and sticky food after slicing.
The blades of the Damashiro range have been tapered to allow for a thinner and more precise cutting edge.
